Poetry: More “Life Is Fair” (from September 2008) [Note: I don’t now or never have used illicit drugs.]

Life is Fair when your hooked on drugs, and your room’s unclean and full of bugs.

Life is Fair when you have no cash, and you look for food within the trash.

Life is Fair when you have no home and you often sleep beside the Loam.

Life is Fair when you have no Future, and the doctor’s knife slipped while doing sutures.

Life is Fair when you have no Pension, stolen by crooks like Enron’s henchmen.

Life is Fair when you lack good looks, so instead of hot dates you read good books.

Life is Fair when you have no voice, and Congress took away your Freedom of Choice.

Life is Fair when you have no Funds, and you work so much that you have no Fun.
