Poetry: “Exotic Dancer” (from September 2008)

She slowly undid her robe to the music and strobe

She’d gyrate her hips amid catcalls and tips

And if she had liquor she’d do several flips

Welcome to the place of strobe

Where men disperse and women disrobe.

She’d be bare and acted like she didn’t care

She’d be nude and had an attitude

On her first time she froze

Like a prized garden rose

She knew her role on the metallic pole

Pay her enough she might show you her mole

T & A, all night and all day

The more you see the more you stay

Welcome to the lights of strobe where

Men swill beer and women disrobe… (tbc?)
