Poetry: “Life Is A Game” (from September 2008)

Life is a game that’s certainly fixed

One day you know your life will be nixed

By a beast with six six six

From a place near Fort Dix

Worshipped by the local hicks

From rural places like French Licks

Then by someone your locks get picked

And your time-bomb heart goes tick tick tick

And dynomite has lit its wicks

Misfortune now has entered the mix

And time goes by so Goddamned quick.
